Powerful enough to take somewhat heavy abuse from logic + a midi controller?
Would the performance boost I gain from the 13" MacBook Pro be worth it over the 13" MacBook Air? Portability is fairly important (university) so the MacBook Air being thinner and lighter is a plus. I don't need the dvd drive of the MacBook Pro either. Assuming I can run logic pro fine, major cons would be the hard drive size (although I'd be using 2TB externals as well) & it being more expensive.
