Hi, curious to know - how quickly do resellers normally get hold of new products from Apple?

Looking at buying iPad 4 to replace my iPad 1 from John Lewis as I have bonus bonds to spend and Apple don't take them (To my knowledge).

They have the iPod Nano listed (new one) but it just says email when in stock, etc.

Have emailed them anyway, but curious if anyone has any experience?

I have noticed John Lewis (UK) have added a place holder now for the iPad with Retina Display. But no info as to a release.

Comet (UK) have also sold out of the iPad 3 devices on there website.

I emailed John Lewis to ask, came back as "will be selling, don't know when". There is a member on AVForums who claims to be a security guard at JL and he has "checked the system" and stock will be available on Friday morning.

Edit

Second person confirming JL will have stock on Friday, so looking more likely. Supposedly on line and in store on Friday.

Make of that what you will.

Hmmm... hope so lol.

Had email confirmation today that they will have them in for Friday morning (8am) and will be selling them online at 9am the same day.

Lets hope they still have one later in the day. I'm thinking demand isn't going to be high for them.
