Not sure I made the topic clear enough, but I was wondering if the ordinary sockets in the wall are "ordinary"? By that I mean in Scandinavian standards, which is two-hole 220 volts.

The reason I´m asking is that I´m moving to Kent in the fall to study, and I´m carrying along my Powerbook g4. :)

We also use 220V here in the UK, but the plugs are three-pronged. You should be able to pick up an adaptor for a few pounds.

I think it's 240V in the UK, not 220.

PowerBook power supplies can handle pretty much anything with the right adaptor though, so you should be fine.

Yep, 240 volt at 50hz, and a standard Apple PSU will autosense from 240 down to 110 I think, You just need an adapter as mentioned, very cheap.
