How Safe Is DiskDrill For USB Install of Mojave?

I used this video to do a clean install of Mojave after realizing that Catalina still has too many issues for me.

When I downloaded DiskDrill it requested certain “permissions” and I allowed them.

Is DiskDrill a legit product? I don’t mind giving up permissions, but I’ve never received this type of warning before and if I do I don’t install the program.

I've never even heard of DiskDrill. I always use the createinstallmedia tool, which is officially supported by Apple.

I've never tried DiskDrill to create a bootable flashdrive.

HOWEVER...
What DOES make it easy is an app called "DiskMaker X":

I suggest you give that a try.
