I have an blue and white g3 that is not my main computer but i dont want it to sit there and just be pretty so i began playing with the web sharing on it.
i know nothing about servers/web hosting etc . . . but i know im not renewing my $99 .mac account next month. but id still like to put family pics and such for the 5 or 10 people in the world who care about what i have going on.

so i have my main computer hooked up to a router and the g3 is hooked up to the router too. the b&w g3 has 2 hard drives in it. i set up a domain at the dyndns service. i enabled the web sharing on the g3 and set up my router to foward port 80 stuff to the g3. i then put my web page and pics and stuff in the web folder in mac os x. (the web folder thats in the library folder).
my question is there anything i should worry about doing this? i dont have anything confidentail or anything like that but if the g3 can be seen would soomeone really smart be able to see my main mac (which does have personal stuff on it)?

also, since the g3 has 2 hard drives would it be secure to have the hd with os x on it as the webserver and the 2nd hd as a 'home server backup'?
could someone possibly get to important files if i kept them on the 2nd hd but off of the os x hd?

any ideas, thoughts, advice, links etc . . . would be appreciated

thanks!!!!!
