I'm from Israel and expecting my new 5S from Verizon to arrive tommorow. It's the full price(no contract) A1533 model ME344LL/A which contains a Verizon nano sim.
Now here my question:
Should I activate the device with the Verizon sim, and only than, replace it with my local Israeli sim? Or, replace the Verizon sim with the Israeli nano sim and activate the device for the first time with the Israeli sim?

technically you don't need any sim to activate the phone. Just a wifi connection. I'd save the trouble and not bother with Verizon service.

So I should just pull out the Verizon nano sim and and activate the device with no sim?? Only than insert my Israeli sim? Will this work for sure?
Does anyone know if I can activate my Verizon Iphone 5S with my Israel sim?
