Well I have way too many things on my desk IMO, and it looks really bad. Anyone have suggestions on how to rearrange it to make it look nicer?

If you think you have too many things, then the obvious solution is to get rid of stuff, or put away anything you don't use on a regular basis.

Personally, I think your desk looks fine. Mine's always covered in stuff related to my ongoing work -- I can never keep it that clean and uncluttered.

-keep the MX revolution dock behind the MBP unless you need to use it

-move the iPhone 'dock'

-get an Airport Express and plug those speakers into it UNDER the desk (or while you're at it, sell them and upgrade to a bigger system)

I'd love your desk.

I need two (fairly large) desks for my stuff. My first desk has a 22'' Dell monitor, a Java book beneath a keyboard and a DVD or two, a Mac mini, a phone, floppy drive and a receiver. To the right of the mini is a Dell Studio 540, and to the right of that is PowerMac G4. Littered around are some post-its and small computer parts like IDE cables.

On the second desk is an original iMac 233, with original keyboard (need to find the mouse) with a few books and cables on top, with some reference manuals in the drawers.

Well thanks for the advice. Heres what I did:

And I moved the MX Revolution dock and Logitech volume wheel to the bottom of my desk:

My desk is opposite of yours. Currently there are 13 empty beer bottles, few empty coke bottles, my 24" iMac with KB and MM + 24" BenQ with PS3 + all other stuff. You can only imagine my cable hell here...
