Why, after changing the icon.png in the music player folder, does the icon not change? I have had no problems with any of the others. Does it require a reboot?

-----ok, I have it now, thanks for all the help

Seeing how the OP didn't post how they actually managed to change it I thought I would for the benefit of people who are in the dark.
In the MobileMusicPlayer.app folder you have to change the 'icon-AudioPlayer.png' rather than just the 'icon.png' file. There are also 2 other icons called 'icon-VideoPlayer.png' which is the Video icon and another called 'icon-MediaPlayer.png' which Im not sure what that changes.

NEEDED: icon.png & Default.png from MobileMusicPlayer.app Folder

Yeah, wish I'd found this earlier. I finally discovered 'icon-MediaPlayer.png' was what I was after but not before icon.png and Default.png disappeared from the MobileMusicPlayer.app Folder.

Any way(s) of getting my hands on those two files? How necessary are they? :-(

Thanks.

So unnecessary I haven't seen them :)
I wouldn't worry about it.
