How should indie developer test iPhone game

Hello all
im just begging to develop for the iPhone
one thing i don't sure after i done developing for the Iphone .
how do i test it so it will work on all the models of IOS and all types of
IPhones , i just can't buy all the IPhones types...
if i could buy one model of phone which will be the best to buy for development
the 4 or 4's or 5 ?
