Is it straight-forward, and does it take long?

My Stand-activity seems to be flipped. Woke up this morning, after sleeping with my watch, only to be told I'm half way to my Stand goal. Yesterday, it also congratulated me on standing, when I was very much seated at my desk.

Will re-pairing do the trick?

Does it reset everything? Like my app- layout? And will it wipe any data?

Would appreciate some clarification before I do the necessary.

It doesn't take long at all. You just un-pair the watch from your iPhone and then re-pair it back. That usually can resolve smaller technical issues with battery life for Bluetooth connectivity.

And no, you won't lose all your data and apps. You just will choose restore from backup versus setting up as new.

It only resets app layout and settings if you set up as a new watch when you re-pair. On the issue of it registering stand goals while sleeping, you're not the first I've seen complain. A few others have mentioned this happening since watchOS 3.1.

Thanks to you both. Just did it now, and was quite simple. Relieved it's not only me to be seeing issues with standing - and I am on watchOS 3.1.
