How slow is Vista compared to XP on MBA

I am considering installing windows using bootcamp on my new macbook Air (1.86gh-Nvidia256-2gb memory, 128 gb ssd). But cannot decide whether to install XP Pro or Vista Business. Can any tell me pros and cons of one vs other. Will MBA run real slow in vista?

Plan to use windows to work in Office2007, Adobe CS3, Surfer, Sigmaplot.
