How soon will the new macbooks be available in stores?

I'm planning to purchase the new macbook. After the Tuesday announcement, how long do you think it will take for the new laptops to be out for sale in the apple stores? Right away? Are shortages expected?

usually same day or up to 2 weeks. occasionally up to 1 month is the longest they tend to hold a release. i bet with these updates they have been planning them for a while and production is full so they should be able to start shipping immediately.
