never done this before so i'm not sure how to go about it.
want to sync my iCal to other macs/ipad/iphone.

i've tried to google this and the results for the most part where from 07 or so.
not sure if things have changed since then.

what i found here was first i have to publish the calendar and then i can sync it. is this still how it works or is there a better way of doing this?

thanks

Just use something like Dropbox. Also you could just publish to Google Calendar and have all the devices iCals sync to that.

This is what I did. For some reason, I couldn't edit my Google Calendars from my iCal, so this is the workaround I found for that. Wherever I edit it--whether it's directly in my Google account or from my Samsung Epic 4G's native calendar app--it syncs across all my devices this way. Not sure about how iCal works between the Mac and the iPad.
