...Well? I have about 300 contacts on MSN (literally!) and I want to find ONE!

Any help?

Actually, you can't yet. This is set for inclusion in Adium 1.3.

The closest you can get is typing their name or screenname (whatever you have displayed) in the buddy list. You could also command+n to open a new chat, then typing the person's name or screenname.

I have over 300 AIM buddies and this works fine for me.

Yep, thats what they told me on the Adium forums, too, thing is when everyones screen name is like this: "G*E*M*M*A--**%%(L)(K)(MP)ME" its kinda hard to do that :p

You can also type their e-mail address in that box, that might be easier.
 
Quick find contact

A quick and easy way is kind of a work-around:
File > New Chat > type in the contacts name and voila!
