EDIT: How TOUGH is the iPhone 4?
It's late and I've just been on a hour and a half car journey...

I got my iPhone 4 on release day along with a bumper in fear of me busting it up. It's not only drops that I was afraid would damage it. I wear 3 rings all the time. One is a titanium ring that I wear on my right index finger and I hold my phone in my right hand when texting.
So my question is, should I worry about any of my rings scratching either the glass or the metal band around the outside of the phone? Also, has anyone managed to scratch their iPhone by laying it flat on a surface without having a bumper on it?

An SGP Crystal shield is some inexpensive insurance in my estimation. Applied with care, it's almost unnoticeable.
