Hello!

How tight should you we are your Apple Watch? Mine is perfect, a little loose and not too tight. Does how tight you wear the watch effect tracking at all? Like going for runs and heart rate?

Thanks!

I've found that if the watch is too loose that it will not track my heart rate correctly when working out. IE heart rate reads 67bpm when I'm on the elliptical, then it swings up to 150bpm. I started using a 12South Action Sleeve for heavy workouts, it's an arm band that places the watch on my bicep and gives me a more consistent reading. Note: I'm not affiliated with 12South in anyway, the Action Sleeve is just a good product that I like for working out.

I wear mine on the 2nd notch of the 42mm band when running to prevent the watch from sliding up and down my wrist when I am running. This makes it snug against my wrist. Otherwise, it's typically the 3rd notch for me.

I can stick a finger between my strap and my wrist, but I wouldn’t describe it as loose. Comfortable is what it is.

I wear mine pretty snug. I had to tighten it up a notch to get reliable heart readings. What profmatt describes may work for him, but wearing mine a little tighter than that still gave me erratic results.

FWIW, I find the AW better than the Mio Slice, which I had to set to almost tourniquet tightness to get consistent, accurate readings.
