Hello experts,
I have a 2018 Mac Mini with 80TB of external storage (Highpoint 8 bay TB3 external RAID array) in my office. I want to be able to access this data from home and other locations, securely of course. Can someone suggest what ever hardware or software I would need to be able to upload and view files from other Macs and Windows computers?
While keeping the server data secure?

Thanks,
Jon

Tailscale is probably the easiest way to tunnel into another private network. You can also make your own VPN setup but then you'll need to deal with rotating IP addresses and NAT hole punching, or worse and open ports.

Is your office network managed by you? I'm guessing not based on your question. You are going to get a slew of responses as there are many different techniques one can deploy to solve this use case, each with their own technical requirements and challenges. I'd say talk to whomever manages your office network.. or provide us some details about your office network configuration and footprint so responses can be the most helpful and context appropriate.

Yes, I am the manager. We have two work stations, a 2018 Mac Mini (i7 6 core) and an M1 mini. A Highpoint tech 8 bay RAID storage box is attached via Thunderbolt to the I7 Mini, contains 8 16B drives in a RAID 5 array. I use simple file sharing to the second machine attached to the network via ethernet. Internet access is provided by AT&T fiber, also attached via ethernet cable. Before COVID we worked in the office daily, but ever since the two of us are working remotely regularly and would love to be able to access files when needed without having to drive to the studio.

Then @!!! suggestion of Tailscale sounds like the way to go.
