Still, it was worth maybe a couple of seconds of idle time to look at.

Why on earth is this? I can't think of any reason why...




edit: Am I just being really stupid here? They seem to use a black one in the instructions, but a white one in the finished thing. I have a feeling I'm missing something obvious. I just got up, and my brain hasn't woken up. <goes and puts the kettle on>

Mind you, looks like someone's been taking liberties with editing the Wiki in some of the following pages.

That picture shows that the hard drive is connected to the connector in the external hard drive enclosure (that's what it's in) and not to the Nano.

Plus ATA has a 8bit data bus, that means there'd have to be at least 8 parallel wires going from the connector to the nano's board. You can see clearly from the website that it isn't the case.

I'd say it's a fake.

EDIT: Also you'll notice that he disassembles a black nano and when reassembled it turns white
