How to add an exchange account to Mail

Hi,

I have a student Microsoft email account that I log onto using Microsoft outlook web access. How can I add this account to my iPhone and Mac Mail account, along with my Gmail account ?

I have no idea about Microsoft exchange ( if that is what my account it :S )
