How to add ATV 4K to Home App

How do I get the Appletv 4K into the Home app?

My light switches are in Home. My HomePod is in Home. I try adding device etc but the Home App never sees the Appletv.

Looks like the feature was removed from late betas and release version of 11.3

It's back in Beta 1 of iOS 11.4 & tvOS 11.4, no clue as to wether it'll actually make it to 11.4 final though

I'm on the 11.4 beta but still can't see the AppleTV 4k to add it to Home app. My AppleTV has the 11.4 beta also.

Have a feeling I'm going to reset the AppleTV, no sure I will go through that hassle.

Are you on the iOS 11.4 Beta as well, need 11.4 tvOS & 11.4 iOS Betas on all devices to get Air Play 2 to work.

Yes - 11.4 beta on iPhone X and 11.4 beta on AppleTV 4k. Strange

Got it.

So, first I deleted the HomePod from the iPhone. Then I unplugged the AppleTV and the HomePod for about an hour. Plugged AppleTV in first, check Home App - there it be. Plugged in HomePod, that need to setup itself again from my iPhone settings - but it too is now in the Home app.

I appreciate everyone's input.

Strange, my ATV 4K showed up home straight away with no messing around.
