This is not PPC-specific, but I guess no one outside uses Xcode 3.x.
I have built gcc7 and now gcc6 compilers with MacPorts, however Xcode app obviously doesn’t see them. Since some soft I need to build is unavailable on MacPorts or fails with it (R-app is an example), I wanna use newer compilers outside of MacPorts and in particular with Xcode.
The question is how to make them available in Xcode interface. It has “Other” for compiler choice, but it is unclear what to do with it to make it work.
