How to adjust mice horizontal tilt wheel speed?

I bought a Microsoft mice which has 4-directional tilt wheel, the purpose of horizontal tilting is nice, but I found in reality it is very slow, which makes it useless, is there anyway I can adjust its speed?

I tried in System Preferences -> Mouse section, change Scroll Speed, but it only affects vertical scroll.

Which Microsoft Mouse? Third party mice with additional features usually have a software driver that needs to be installed for those features to be configurable. Did it come with a CD with a driver? Did you install the driver?
