Nice Bank of America building picNot a big deal but all information I have read and seen says and shows you can adjust the Flashlight Beam Pattern/angle by swapping left or right. I can't get it to do this on my 16 plus w/iOS18.1 beta. What am I missing?

Kinda thought that might be the case but I read several and none stated that. Here is an example that says it is available. It's only available on the Pros (phones that have "Adaptive True Tone flash"). The Pros have more LEDs to make different lighting patterns. This article basically explains how it works.

Sounds like the author of that article thought it was for all phones that have Dynamic Island, but didn't realize it's also dependent on the flash/LED hardware that's currently only on the Pros.Kinda thought that might be the case but I read several and none stated that. The graphic still shows because we can swipe up/down to adjust brightness; just can't swipe left/right to adjust the beam because the LEDs on the regular models aren't capable of doing that. You shouldn’t be seeing the graphic that shows it being adjustable unless it’s adjustable.
Here’s another link that may help

Guess Apple can’t be bothered having an accurate graphic for the model it’s displaying on. SucksSounds like the author of that article thought it was for all phones that have Dynamic Island, but didn't realize it's also dependent on the flash/LED hardware that's currently only on the Pros.
