How to AirPlay to stereo HomePods from Mac?

Hey guys, just curious if you can help. Both of my stereo HomePod setup's are appearing as separate speakers when I pull up the AirPlay list on my Mac. On my iPhone, they show as one (as they should). But I cannot initiate a stereo music session to one of my HomePod stereo pairs from my Mac. Is this a glitch that Apple needs to fix? Does anyone know what to do here? It seems the only solution is to initiate Spotify music from my iPhone to the Dining Room or Master Bedroom, otherwise I can only initiate to one of the HomePods in that location from my Mac.
