The vids are in mkv and i don't feel like airplay mirroring my whole mac screen to watch one video lol. Any third party programs or will i have to use mirroring?

So, we're back at square 1 : where's the problem?
You can also look into Erica Sadun's early work on AirPlay, but compared to commercial product like Beamer, they can at best be described as prototypes or POCs.
i thought someone would release something for free, a video player with an AirPlay button like there are for videos when you play them on iphone and ipad. Didn't wanna buy a program because there are much better uses of my money.
