Is there a single dongle for this? Or do I need to go USB-C to USB-A then USB-A to micro-USB? I can find plenty female micro-USB to make UCB-C adapters, but non the other way around. Need this to transfer photos from my Sony camera to the new Macbook Pro.

A quick look at the OP's recent postings suggests he's just another who ordered one right away but hasn't stopped looking for ways to hate it since he clicked the buy button. He really thought he was onto something with the adapter to cable to adapter shtick.

Hey creepy stalker :)

Not sure what your point is. Yes, I hate the adapter crap, since there was no reason to omit ports from this laptop. Where have I said I don't hate it? It's ridiculous, as it this omission of Magsafe.

What you need is a USB-C to Micro USB cable ... Apple is selling a belkin one (http://www.apple.com/shop/product/HHSQ2ZM/B/belkin-usb-c-to-micro-b-charge-cable-usb-20) and there are plenty on Amazon

Thanks! No idea why I couldn't find any of these when spending 10 minutes on Amazon searching earlier.
