Does anyone know how I can keep heavy smudges and fingerprints from coating my iPhone screen? I understand keeping an iPhone spotless is nearly impossible, but my iPhone 7 quickly keeps attracting a heavy quantity or smudges no matter how many times in a day I clean it. Any advice would help, thanks!

Try to keep your hands and fingers clean.
It's a touchscreen so you will have to touch it with your fingers and that will leave fingerprints obviously.
Unless you use it with rubber gloves on to avoid any smudges or fingerprints on the screen.

That just comes with the territory man. Until some mad scientist creates a "smudge free" screen, you will be wiping down your screen forever.

The thing is, I know people who use their phone just as much (if not more) as I do, yet keep their phone in a cleaner condition...

I hate that too! That's all I see on my iPhone and iPad. I'm all for a smudge free screen, that's what innovation is for lol

A new screen protector every few months will leave it more smudge resistant. The screen and protectors lose the coating after awhile.

The screen has an oleophobic coating on it from the factory to protect from prints/minor scratches, which wears eventually. But I believe it can be re-applied to the display.

Their hands must be cleaner.

I see people eating and using their phone at the same time. No way those French fries are not smeared on the screen.

Just wash you hands several times a day and you screen has to stay cleaner.

It is just simple physics.

There is no more “physics” involved in that process than there is, involved in any other thought you might have, let alone actual body movement.

Just use alcohol and ammonia-free cleaner and microfibre cloth regularly. Just be sure to keep the cloth dust free.
I use Eco Moist as it's safe to use and has no harsh chemicals. Drys quick and smear-free.
