iPod touch How to avoid mobile web pages

So when I go to CNN or ESPN I get the mobile pages
Example I type in www.espn.com and I get m.espn.com and I cant get the regular (non mobile) web page. Is there a way to get this? I take the M out of the web address and it just comes up again.

Most of the time with mobile pages somewhere on the page it says something along the lines of view pc page or something like that. However on the espn site I don't see anything like that but I found that if you go to the bottom of the page right above sign in click espn.com and that took me to a non mobile version of the page.
