How to back up Apple notes (icloud &Time machine not working)

I noticed my apple notes weren't syncing to my iphone.

I checked on the icloud website. Notes are going up from the phone to icloud.

However, any notes I've done on 10.13 are not going up to icloud. Even though icloud it on. Obviously a bug.

On top of this Time Machine isn't working on 10.13.

I need to back up Notes manually by pointing my backup software (Arq) at the Notes folder in Library.

Any idea, where the folder is, and where I can can point the software to?

Also, because notes haven't gone up to icloud, nor on time machine, I'm assuming I cannot downgrade to 10.12 because when notes are repopulated I will have lost the notes I've done over the last month on 10.13. Is this correct?

Time Machine works now in 10.13 Beta (17A306f) released today.

The location for Notes is constantly changing. Check
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/
~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.notes

Notes not sync


Delete the following folders under user library, empty trash and re-enable Notes iCloud in Mac:


~/Library/ApplicationScripts/com.apple.Notes

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes.HTMLConverter

~/Library/GroupContainers/group.com.apple.notes
