I have an external hard drive hooked up to my time capsule and I want to back it up, to the time capsule, using time machine, is this possible? If not with time machine then how do I do manually.

My HD was formatted in FAT32, which I could use when plugged into the macbook pro but couldn't use through the time capsule. I has to reformat to HFS+ It now works great as an external through the time capsule and I can network off it with all my computers. I do not use it as a back up it is a shared network drive. Love it. I got a 7 port USB hub for the TC and can now do wireless printing and networking, and the TC is backing up everything on it. Super cool.
