Hi all,

I recently got a MobileMe and it's going awesome. However, I've run into a small speed bump. I use Google Apps to get email through my domain, and all my email is read through Mail on my mac. Is is possible to backup all of my messages from my google apps email through mail and save it to my computer? My domain expires soon and I don't want to lose 800 messages.

When you download a copy of your messages from Google Apps to Mail, it creates a copy of the message in Mail. So, in essence, you already have some form of backup for your messages. Perhaps you can look into archiving your mailbox (assuming you have a box set up specifically for that account)?

Your other option would be, go through all 800 messages and forward them to another email address.

Create a local ("On My Mac") folder in Mail to keep the backed up messages in, then just drag whatever messages you want into that folder, and it should copy them from the server.
