How to back up iMessage conversation?

Hi all,

Just received my iPhone 7! I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.5. I was curious how I could back up a text message conversation that means a lot to me personally on my MacBook Pro before I switch to my new phone. It's an ongoing conversation so screenshotting isn't an option unfortunately.

Please let me know your thoughts!

You can backup the phone and then put the backup onto the new phone. Or do you only want it to be on a computer specifically?
