I have an iPhone, and the hard drive of the pc that I use to sync my iPhone died. I do have a backup of all my music, but I do not have my contacts backed up.

Is there an easy way to backup the contacts from the iPhone? My ultimate goal is to set up iTunes on my new pc, copy my music to the new pc and use it to sync my iPhone going forward.

Thanks for the help,
Rob

Rob, set up a gmail account and use exchange to save and sync your contacts.

http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

But how do I get the contacts off of the iPhone and back onto my new computer. My concern is that when I hook up the iPhone to the pc, I get that message that the iPhone is synced with 'Old-PC' and that I could erase it and then sync it to 'New-PC'.

I have a few hundred contacts that I don't want to type in again :)
