How to backup from 3gs backup to iphone 3g

Hey,

my iphone 3gs is broken, so my friend gave me a replacement 3g, I backed up my iphone 3gs a couple months ago, and I want to restore that backup on the 3g that I just got, is there any possible way? hacks or anything?

You should be able to restore the 3G from that backup in iTunes.

Considering I've traded backup between my 4 and 2G, you shouldn't have a problem with this.

As far as I know you can use an iOS backup on any device and it will only take the information relevant to that device

when i selected my original 3gs backup my 3g told me that the software was too old, so i had to make it as a new one and then update to a newer software to go to my 3gs backup. When I do that and click update i get the 1015 error.

my iphone 3gs had 4.3.3
