Hey guys

What do you do for backing up all of your jailbroken apps, when you're switching from a jailbroken 4.0.1 to limera1n 4.1?

And what about individual program settings?

Guess it's still not possible to upgrade firmware without JB apps being wiped in the process....?

Thanks guys!!

Does it remeber settings as well?

Guess not, even Itunes doesn't after an upgrade...

So much wasted time

Its been awhile since Ive needed it & there are probably newer apps now but, there should be apps that will remember & re-download your JB apps & I think there is another that remembers your settings & levels etc.

I may be wrong but just google those terms & read what you find...;)

Okay thanks.

Did try to google it, no alternatives showed up apparently

Anyone else know how to backup JB app AND settings prior to firmware update?

there's this magical thing called "backing up" your iphone with itunes.

As soon as I re-installed my cydia stuff after upgrading to 4.1 (and restoring from my 4.0.1 backup) they ALL behaved like they did before the jailbreak. In fact, the only thing ive reconfigured at all is activator.

Yes, but backing up via iTunes doesn't remember WHAT jailbreak APTs you have installed. The question is how to redownload all of your APTs in one fell swoop.
