I am a beginner in jailbreak and would like to know if there is any mac software that can make backup on apps installed via Cydia or Installous.

Thanks :apple:

Download "pkgbackup" (Must be purchased) through cydia and download "appbackup" also from cydia. Once downloaded, make sure to backup the files/apps from both apps in device. Once done backing up, open up iTunes and back it up so that way when some freak nature happens to your device, you always have a backup:D
iTunes will keep a data base of your backups by "date and time," which allow you to choose which one when you backed up so make sure to backup from your device and iTunes often if you update your apps frequently. Both apps will allow you to do a restore so that way you can be able to get "most" of your files/apps back from cydia/installous. Hope this answers your question.....
