I have some 20k art images in some hundred folders.
I ran a script to print their symlinks into one folder, so they can all cycle on the desktop.
And another script that shows the name of each image.
However, many of the images have names like img123, and I would really appreciate knowing at least which artist (i.e., folder name) they are from.
Is there a script one could run that would preserve the original file name (some of them have a year/artwork in the name), and upend to it the name of the folder.
And if so, would it also work for subfolders, as some artist folders have subfolders for different years.
