Is there a program out there for the mac that can batch convert CBR to CBZ? I know of Comic Rack, but that is for windows only. Is there something for te mac that can do this?

The OP doesn't want to convert to PDF. He essentially needs to convert RAR to ZIP. Here's one program that does this.
So with the one above, I just add my CBR comics on the left and choose CBZ instead of PDF and it should batch convert to the CBZ? Sound about right?
Yeah. I haven't tried it but can't see why it wouldn't work. You can be our guinea pig
Jomic works great to convert cbr to cbz or pdf
archiver (rucksack) works great too, except it doesn't have a batch process that I could find and I had to rename the cbr files to rar to convert to zip. Jomic is a lot better and faster, especially if you already have a collection of comics you want to convert.
For people that care, cbz format seems to work better for comic reader apps such as Droid Comic Viewer on Android, less memory issues compared to cbr. I'm using my Nook Color to read comics and it works really well.
