Hey, i want to know how i can burn multiple .avi tv series files (about 350mb) onto a dvd so that i can play it in my dvd play. I have a mac OS X panther 10.3.9 so lots of new prgrams do not work. does anyone know of a program that i can use to either convert the .avi and then burn or burn it straight out onto a dvd?
also what format do i need to burn a dvd?
thanks

I haven't tried Toast but I am sure it would work. That is the :apple: side over Nero the Windows side. Nero is what I use through Fusion...

If your DVD player is capable of playing DIVX/XVID .avi files, you could just burn them via Finder I think.

Also Roxio's Toast Titanium might be a good software, if you can find a Panther version. Maybe you could ask the developers, where to find one.

If you don't have DVD player that can play .avi files, you have to convert the files to MPEG-2, which will then be burnt to DVD as a Video DVD with Menu and tracks. The resulting files will have .vob as suffix.
Maybe Toast can do this too.
