how to buy iphone 3g (don't use at&t)

hi there,

i am looking to buy an iphone 3g, however i do not use at&t i use t-mobile. what would be the cheapest way to purchase an iphone 3g? i have a turbosim so all i need is the phone. can i go to the apple store and sign up for a 2 year plan with at&t and then cancel? what do you recommend i do?

If buying the phone, paying the activation fee, paying for two months of service, then canceling the contract with ETF is your style, buy it in the store. Otherwise, go to ebay or craigslist.
