how to buy the no commitment verizon iphone 5? Please help

I need to buy the verizon iphone 5 with full price. Could I walk to the store and just buy the iphone 5? do I have to sign up for the month-to-month plan?

No. You could do month to month or pay as you go later.

To buy the phone at a Verizon store, you must have a line with them. Even if you don't buy subsidized. Don't ask me why but they've refused to sell me phones in the past (including the iPhone 5) at full retail without me giving them an account number. The one time, I walked out, went to an authorized reseller and bought the phone I wanted without giving them anything. Just the corporate stores require it.

I heard that you choose the verizon iphone at apple store with the option device only. Then i can buy the full price verizon at apple store. Is that true? Thanks so much
