So my company's desktop engineering department is so far behind the times.
They are blocking the app store by having the casper suite automatically kill the process.
any way around that?
I'm really REALLY not a major Mac User so please explain the directions clearly if there is a way to do this. Maybe set the security on the app store program so that it can't be killed some how?
Also, is there any way for me to get software updates from apple instead of from my casper server?
please, no warnings about how things are set by the desktop engineering team for a reason. I'm sys admin and data center engineer for the company and i'm well aware of the security involved with my PC equipment, but I've never worked with Mac's before and they put me into the "this guy needs a 'mac for dummies' book" group.
