how to call an application when machine is rebooting

I written an applescript code. I want to execute that script whenever my machine is switched on(booting). How can i do this?

you can excecute it after your desktop appears by placing it in your Login Items list in Account preferences.

Its working fine. I want to execute that script. But this is just opening the script in script editor. How can i make that script to execute?

sorry, save it as an Application in Script Editor and then add that to the list.
