I wanna back up some old home movies to my comp... I have an HV20 and an older DVD DCR Sony Camcorder.... The HV20 has cables that run from my camcorder to my TV so can i run the composite cables from my hv20 to the vcr and from my camcorder via usb into my iMac? another alternative is my DCR camcorder has an S video output so I can do VCR to Sony Camcorder via S cable and that into my imac.. Which is better/easier?

VCR to Canon HV20 via Composite cables?
VCR to Sony DCR via S-Cables?

i use the eyetv hybrid, it has an analogue tuner built in (and digital freeview) works a treat, but there are plenty of official breakout boxes about, some on apple store.
