There are a few icons that I wish to rename on my desktop. The windows installation is named untitled and I want to rename it windows. I have click to highlight the icon and hit enter, but nothing happens?

Maybe I am doing something wrong..

Special case

Your boot camp partition is probably NTFS if you cant rename it. To rename it you'll have to boot into windows and change it in "My Computer" to whatever you want to rename it to.

(The reason you can't rename an NTFS partition is that OS X doesn't natively support writing to NTFS volumes due to Micrsoft not releasing the source or possibly licensing issues)

I've learnt so much by browsing these forums, still so much to learn.
