I just followed what I found on the net. I've used .icns images, I've copied and paste on View Information. Or I substituted the old icon with the new on contents-resources . What I obtain is an anonymous icon. Is it a problem of permissions or what?
Thanks

What you should be doing is

1, right click on the app you want to change
2, click on get info
3, in the box that pops up drag the .icns image onto the top left hand image
4, type in password if required
5, done

if you want to change the finder or trash icons, they're a bit trickier.

Main problem is that neither .icns nor .png appear in "preview" inside "Get Info".
Watching videos it appears quite easy...?

Ok solved. I had just to open the file in preview, select all different size, and paste in get info.
Thanks
