I'm pretty sure I've seen this before, but I just recently jailbroke my iPhone so I'm fairly new to this. Is there any way to change the name and icon of an application? Namely BiteSMS, I would like to rename it Messages and use the default Messages icon. I've searched Google for the answer, but didn't find anything that seemed to work. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how I would do this?

Thanks!

Get an app called "Rename II" to rename an app. Get it from this repo:

http://cydia.myrepospace.com/Tw1zTiD-Chris21/

Note that this app needs to have "attachment= for mailto:" installed as well. It should get installed automatically but make sure it does get installed.

I have attached a WinterBoard theme that replaces the biteSMS icon.

I'm having trouble downloading the Rename II app. Is there a download link somewhere? I've made an account and click on the app but only see a button to post a comment. I do see that it wants me to add his account to my Cydia sources, but I have no idea how to do that? So could you tell me how to download that?

But the theme works perfectly, thank you! :D

You're welcome!

Here is where you go to add a source (repo) to Cydia:

Cydia --> Manage --> Sources --> Edit --> Add

Enter the repo there an then look in the repo to find Rename II.
