Hi everyone,

I'm new to mac and I recently bought a macbook, still excited about it! as I learn German, I've set the language to English but would really appreciate the dictionary feature (control+command+d) to give the definition of German words, not English words. How can I change this in Safari/elsewhere?

This would help me a lot, so thanks in advance!

In other words, the cmd+ctrl+d works very well with words in English, but how can I apply it to words in German instead?
Thanks!

You have to install an additional dictionary plugin as the Dictionary app doesn't come with one for the German language. Then you can go into Dictionary.app's preferences and drag the entry for the newly installed plugin somewhere to the top to make sure it will be displayed in the little popover you mentioned.

Thanks a lot! will it also work with 10.7 lion? just before I downed it...
