How to change firmware version without iFile or "Jailbreak"

I had did the fake change to make the phone think it was on iOS 5.1 so I could update iPhoto
I forgot to change it back and my phone lost power. Booted up fine, but jailbreak is gone now. Cydia, etc... will not open. Absinthe says firmware version is not supported. Is there any way I can change it back to be 5.0.1 so the JB works again?\

Edit: I was able to fix it with iFunbox but the JB is still gone. Bummer.

Open redsn0w and click "just boot tethered." There is no untethered jailbreak for 5.1 right now. Boot with redsn0w and all will be well.
