So I have this weird problem where the name associated with my email is all capital letters when using Mail on MAC OS X. What's weird about it is that everywhere in my system, my name appears correctly (first letter capitalized only, etc.) - Mail preferences, System preferences, Address Book, etc, and people who get my emails see it correctly too.

I do see this when opening a new email, and since I BCC myself on all my emails, I see my name on the BCC as all capital letters. Also, if I send an email to myself, I see it appears as FIRST LAST <email address> when seeing this email on the Mail app (if I go to gmail, I dont see this).

How can I change this? I was literally looking everywhere on my machine (even plist files, etc.) and could not find how to change it.

Thanks!

What kind of account is it? For example, in GMail's Settings (web interface) you can define how your name appears. I'd check in the web settings next, if that's available for your account.

It's a Google Apps account (work gmail basically). I checked there under Accounts and everything looks ok. The thing is that if I use the web app, I dont see this problem. Only on my Mail app on my Mac.

Thanks a lot for trying though...
